Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 29, 2017 8:06 am Just wanted to post this tip. Metricon (M) offers discount on the base price if you are approaching them for building your home and you have a titled land. The discount amount also significant as I understood. For example when they went with Glendale promotions 2/3 months ago it was close to $10K. Not sure, they would reveal this unless you inquire about it. This is on base price. So if you were going for G45, the calculated price should be , advertised price $296,900 Less $10k (Apr 2017 promotion). There are couple of other catches here. What about the ones whose land is going to be titled in 2/3 months. I guess you can still manage some discount with a little bit of planning. Similarly for the people who made initial deposit about 3/4 months ago..may be still you can manage..with a little bit of hassle.. Just wondering if any other builders are offering this sort of discount. Henley is not giving as I enquired.. Re: Titled Land Discount - Metricon and Other Builders 2Jul 29, 2017 8:17 am Hi we were planning to build Glendale 45 and we put deposit for it after we made some changes in plan they pulled out that 10k deposit they said structural changes are not allowed. We said to them we are paying for those changes. I think its a big trap and we planned not to go ahead. It is just a marketing technique to get customers.
