Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 19, 2017 7:55 pm Hi all. Just looking to see if I can get input in regards to going with a smaller builder or a bigger builder in regard to constructing a home? Only reason why I ask is because me and my wife are looking to build next year and have narrowed down to Metricon (a big builder who has been around for decades) or Better Built Homes (a smaller company who has good reputation but has only been around for years). I know prices and packages are generally the same, but just wanted to know who would be more efficient in regards to building time and customer service response? Also would it be safe to go with Better built even if they are smaller? With a smaller builder I always worry about them going out of business and having warranty voided. Any thoughts and opinions based on experience anyone has had regarding bigger vs smaller builder?
