Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 13, 2017 5:26 pm Hi All, I am building with WA Housing and the revised siteworks invoice shows a $992 fee for 'additional survey fees due to established area requiring additional time to re-establish control points'. Does this fee seem reasonable? 300m2 block, basic house plan. My site is on an block which has been subdivided into 4, following removal of established house. Thanks Re: SURVEY FEES 2Jul 14, 2017 8:38 pm If the original survey was done with the existing house on the site, then the builder will definitely need a new survey after the demolition has occurred. As to whether this is a fair price or not, I guess it depends on the contractor W.A.H.C employ, as everyone's rates differ. I don't think it's an excessive amount that your are paying though.
