So happy with how it's all turned out! Soooo much storage. Shelving has also all been installed now and wet area tiling has had a bit more done. Waterproofing was done today so tiler will be back to do what he can tomorrow. Stone tops are holding us up now though. First few weeks back are going to be jam-packed too with stone and tiling being completed, then electrical finals the week after Find my build thread here: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=88694&f=31&p=1729530#p1729530 Re: First Timer (Built By Momu @ Calleya) 110Dec 21, 2017 10:14 am just_a_draftee Madora Dreamer Your kitchen is looking lovely. Re: First Timer (Built By Momu @ Calleya) 111Dec 21, 2017 2:09 pm Our laminate colours is Laminex 'Ghostgum' and our stone is essastone 'Zinc' Find my build thread here: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=88694&f=31&p=1729530#p1729530 Re: First Timer (Built By Momu @ Calleya) 113Dec 21, 2017 10:27 pm The Essastone Zinc will look great, it is one of my favourites. Re: First Timer (Built By Momu @ Calleya) 114Dec 21, 2017 10:32 pm Choosy The Essastone Zinc will look great, it is one of my favourites. We fell in love with 'Ash Concrete' only to find out it was in category 3 (exclusive) and was going to cost almost 10k to do the whole house Find my build thread here: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=88694&f=31&p=1729530#p1729530 Re: First Timer (Built By Momu @ Calleya) 115Dec 21, 2017 10:46 pm The zinc can still give the industrial look with the right accessories and for a fraction of the cost. We were going to use it our bathrooms with New Graphite until we done our tile selection. Re: First Timer (Built By Momu @ Calleya) 117Dec 21, 2017 11:16 pm Yeah thats why we went with the zinc, will still give the desired effect. The main expenses were that it was a combination of 30mm thick, 1.4m wide, had a waterfall edge and was category 3. We couldn't have made it any more expensive 😂 Find my build thread here: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=88694&f=31&p=1729530#p1729530 Re: First Timer (Built By Momu @ Calleya) 118Dec 21, 2017 11:17 pm just_a_draftee Yeah thats why we went with the zinc, will still give the desired effect. It will all look fantastic once it’s finished 😊 Re: First Timer (Built By Momu @ Calleya) 119Dec 21, 2017 11:26 pm That's it! I'm sure the end result is going to be perfect either way Find my build thread here: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=88694&f=31&p=1729530#p1729530 Re: First Timer (Built By Momu @ Calleya) 120Jan 06, 2018 8:37 pm Obviously not a whole lot being done the last few weeks given the time of year, however we swung past today and the chippies have installed our cavity slider to the Ensuite, ready for the door to go in and the plasterboard to go on. Can now get a better feel for how the room feels and I think it's confirming my worry that i didn't make the room big enough by the time the king bed goes in there isn't going to be a massive amount of room leftover...
