We took it as we informed them and they need to provide it in working order and goid standard and quality to us. Still no reply on the matter from ss or consultant. (At least we have proof we informed them). Yes glad about a few things we are doing theough builder and not after handover! Re: First jome build SA Hickinbotham 446Nov 15, 2017 4:56 pm Sarah159 Oh the insolation isnt it yet? I think the people that put that in bring it with them Oh.. no only first fix electrical and the wirms from the heating /cooling Not sure why insolation is not in yet it was booked for today. So probably tomorrow will be insolation abd friday gyprock? Also not looking like bricks will be finished this week like bricky said... Looking mire like next week Re: First jome build SA Hickinbotham 447Nov 15, 2017 5:05 pm I bet this weather messes up lots of their schedules then they spend half their time afterwards trying to reschedule everything and keep things flowing on. weather affecting a couple of houses now probably has a flow on effect to a bunch of houses for weeks. Hopefully you get your insulation tomorrow and lining shortly afterwards Re: First jome build SA Hickinbotham 448Nov 15, 2017 5:13 pm Unless she ment the first fix electrical and worms and then the rest? Our friends also had issues with the timing... and it sounded like electrical was stretched out but tgey got insolation on last Friday and their gyprock was slso then delivered. So mught take it as the furst fux stuff then the rest Re: First jome build SA Hickinbotham 451Nov 16, 2017 9:09 am Just went past house on our way home from doctors (both me and hubby down with flu) We have the brickies back today and something is going on inside too, didnt go in .. if we feel better we will hav a look tonight. Didnt see gyprock unless its inside somewhere Re: First jome build SA Hickinbotham 453Nov 16, 2017 11:15 am Sarah159 Awesome! Yeh they store gyprock inside because it cant get wet. Hope you feel better soon! Thanks (did not see it in garage when we went past but can be in hall/lounge/bedroom that we could not see ) Re: First jome build SA Hickinbotham 454Nov 16, 2017 3:59 pm So nothing changed on inside, no gyprock/insolation or them being delivered But there is an extra bricky today. Usually the brickies is gond around lunch time today they are still working well over 4pm Re: First jome build SA Hickinbotham 457Nov 17, 2017 5:23 pm No bricking today, also not completed but lost 2days with rain... Thinking atleast another 3-4 days for bricking. All the window/doors needs to be finished up, 1/4 of alfresco and the whole boundary wall plus the wall at kitchen/lounge/dining (which has 2 x 240 window and slide door so not much bricks, biggest part is boundary garage wall) Insolation was done today and gyprock delivered. But the pipe that goes from cooling unit to roof looks like it was broken when they did installation, the bit with the copper ends that goes in/through wall looks like it was ripped out to install insolation and broken off Have emailed hickies hoping they replace it before plaster goes on as a simple patchup/tapeup wont work and cause issues down the track So it looks like we finally have some movement on site!
