Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 06, 2017 9:00 pm Hi there! Over the years I've come to learn that practically anything you buy is negotiable in terms of price. One thing I've never purchased is a brand new home. I'm particularly interested in porter davis, but would love to know everyone's experiences with negotiations with any builders! How much were you able to negotiate the price down? Did you have more luck getting free upgrades? I'm guessing it'd be easier to negotiate the base price down before signing a contract, rather than squeezing on add ons down the track after they've already guaranteed the sale. Thanks! BTW it's swings and roundabouts and it's a numbers game with manufacturers rebates and incentive$ goodluck Designer,Engineer (Civil,Const & Envir),Builder,Concrete & Masonry Contract.Struct Repairs Re: Price negotiations 3Jul 07, 2017 8:37 am Once you have signed the building contract any opportunity to negotiate is gone.
