It has been an overly long process with our DA approval taking a Very long time due to unique circumstances of the block's zoning. We have gone a bit silly with the inclusions but with time at a premium we could not worry too much about fitting more stuff once w moved in after handover. Pretty excited to see it all come together! I have a quick question: We have been given the first payment invoice however I am unsure when the provisional costs for rock excavation are finalized. We have been given a $10,000k allowance for rock excavation as well as $5000 for piering. I realize they have grossly overestimated for two reasons......I didn't want the price to go up if we hit rock so I could work within a budget and also when the house pad was cut I spoke with the Bulldozer driver and he said they didn't hit much at all. At what point in the payment process do you get the actual provisional sum correction? We are just signing up with Montgomery homes for another Carolina.
