Hi all,
Just signed the contracts today and is now waiting for the land to title, so i thought ill start a bit of a progression blog.
So i have gone with ABC Homes which is relatively new builder and a subsidiary of Metrocon.
I am building the Metropolitan 32 with Vue as the facade and Jasper as the color scheme. Interior color scheme is Goulburn.
Feel free to ask me any questions and happy to answer them. This is going to be my first build so fingers crossed that I don't get too many headaches and sleepless nights.

Hi Garry, Unfortunately my titlement has been delayed. Though i have signed the contract with abchomes. So far so good, everything went very smoothly. We are all just waiting for the land to title to commence build. Hi Charles, The final build price was $287 including flooring driveway bits and bobs with few upgrades with stone benchtops, taps and etc. The price includes site cost as well which was $12k, my land is fairly flat with max .02 degrees of variation from all 4 points of the block. The house is going to be 26 SQ and the current price is around 230k. This price is excluding fencing and landscaping, however. Could you please share your experience on how to secure that the price is locked and no more to pay beyond your contract price. Hi , Im in negotiation with ABC homes with a contract and after seeking advice from a contract lawyer i presented amendments to the sales consultant, his reaction to my requests at this stage is not very promising - so looks like I will be going elsewhere - the contract is not fixed price - leaves the door open for any increase they can find. |
