Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 02, 2017 6:30 pm Hi all, Was wondering if I can get some insights or help with the sequence of what to do first I am building with volume builder so handover is in a month or so, so starting to look into concreting (driveway and perimeter of house), fencing and gates. I'm looking to have an electric sliding fence From my discussion with the contractors, it appears the sequence is to be the following : 1. Pillars for the gates and fence has to be installed into the ground first prior to concreting 2. Electrician to bring the wiring to the front gate area / install power point there in preparation for the electric gate 3. Concreting 4. Installation of electric gate and fence Is this correct and is there anything that I have missed?
