I would do this ^^. We have friends and family drive past regularly but I don't think any of them go inside the fence, I would be a bit upset if they did. But, I would be uncomfortable in your situation. I'd probably tell them the builder had mentioned about people being on site, and could they stay off as you dont want to be in trouble with the builder.. As above I'd just say that the builder asked them to keep out for safety reasons. Your friends are taking too much liberty and if you don't stop it it may get worse and you won't get any respect. You can be diplomatic but firm. It is good to know that i am not alone in thinking this. I will be having a quiet word to them to let them know that their visits are not wanted by our builder. Fingers crossed that they take it well. I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this.
