Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 287Jun 02, 2018 7:36 pm mj-mac4 CC7 your bricks look really beautiful, looks so good with the contrasting lighter roof too! It's so interesting to see the job during the process, you are lucky that you get to stop by so often to see it, although i guess it makes you question things too (like if the mortar wasn't done correctly - i would have been obsessing too haha) Thankyou CC7. Yes it’s nice to be close and see what is done everyday. Though I think we are driving the trades crazy lol! 😆🤣🤣 haha our SS said he would be very cranky (my words not his thought) if he found out we were on site when tradies were. Although i'm sure looking from the other side of the road would have been fine, so it's a good thing we live a half hour drive away haha We had one guy working on a saturday afternoon, we drove past and noticed he was tidying up so we didn't have to wait long - a few laps around the estate to look at driveway colours hahaha LOVE your bricks. I cannot wait to see what the inside of our house looks like tomorrow, ours might be at the same stage as you Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 288Jun 02, 2018 8:50 pm Lol we don’t go on site when the trades are there. We just go through in the late arvo after 3 when they have left. If the trades are on site we just stay outside of the fence. But our supervisor is pretty chilled and doesn’t mind us checking on the process as long as we leave everything as is and careful. 😁 Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 292Jun 04, 2018 3:41 pm mj-mac4 bestspecials Looking good. It's a house now. Thanks best special! You house is coming along nicely! I wonder what on the agenda this week! 😄 No idea. I think downpipes and who knows what!! Will have to wait and see. Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 293Jun 04, 2018 7:24 pm Nice colour, our blinds are very similar! We only have blinds in three bedrooms. Everything else is plantation shutters. We actually purchased through Coral, it seemed liked decent value and I didn't want to wait 12 weeks for delivery, haha! We looked into it through coral but was t sure exactly what I wanted so I thought we would wait. DIY blinds is pretty quick I think 3 weeks for blinds but longer for plantation shutters. I don’t mind waiting, I’ve already been waiting over 2 years lol what’s another month or two. 😆🤣🤣 Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 295Jun 04, 2018 11:26 pm Wow it’s looking so good!! Love your blinds too Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 296Jun 04, 2018 11:34 pm Man we really haven't even thought about colours for our window coverings, let alone which type to go for hahaha. That was our original plan though, and i really like the colour you picked out, it's not too light or too dark. We have to get a shutter made up for the ensuite cut out, we wanted something where the frame could sit perfectly flush on both sides of the wall (so fill the entire space) but not sure how to go about that or if its possible. seems like they either sit over the "window" frame or recessed in, but it would only be half way through :S It's been thrown into the too hard basket for the last month, but i know our SS will be asking us about it again soon so he knows what to tell the tiler Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 297Jun 06, 2018 9:03 am mj-mac4 Lol we don’t go on site when the trades are there. They would have missed a lot of stuff if we didn't go up every few days to check on them. They would have missed a lot of stuff if we didn't go up every few days to check on them. The only time I have seen any tradesmen is twice and that was a Saturday and Sunday. They are usually gone by the time we get there after 4 on a weekday. There has been only 1 thing that is wrong and that was the height of the shelf in the WIR. SS was already onto it and is being fixed this week. Hi, I am wondering if anyone has built with Montgomery in the last few years on the Northern Beaches?
