They did amazing work. We have double height bricks too, so I think it's quicker with that too. I wish we were closer to our block looking forward to your photo of the progress Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 266May 31, 2018 11:37 am CC7 mj-mac4 CC7 ah wow! you guys are probably only a week behind us i reckon. Love your Bricks Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 270Jun 01, 2018 4:01 pm from my research a few months ago, off white mortar is done by mixing.. sand i believe. So yep, should be a two part mixture. And i've also read that it will take a few days for the grout to show its true colour, so it dries lighter. Check on it on Sunday arvo/Monday Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 271Jun 01, 2018 7:25 pm CC7 from my research a few months ago, off white mortar is done by mixing.. sand i believe. We called our building supervisor and he told us the same as you said. And then we found the white sand and white cement bags at the side if our house. Phew! π Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 279Jun 02, 2018 9:49 am your bricks look really beautiful, looks so good with the contrasting lighter roof too! It's so interesting to see the job during the process, you are lucky that you get to stop by so often to see it, although i guess it makes you question things too (like if the mortar wasn't done correctly - i would have been obsessing too haha) Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 280Jun 02, 2018 3:33 pm CC7 your bricks look really beautiful, looks so good with the contrasting lighter roof too! Yes itβs nice to be close and see what is done everyday. Though I think we are driving the trades crazy lol! ππ€£π€£ Hi, I am wondering if anyone has built with Montgomery in the last few years on the Northern Beaches? I don't see the see them around, as I would love to ask how happy… 0 3191 We spent close to 2 years in a process with TA.
