The other half and I have been casually discussing the possibility. Hi goodone, looking at roughly $30,000 this includes Magna pool, filter, lights, tiles, coping and water feature. 😁 Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 63Nov 27, 2017 9:28 pm Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We finalised our pool design today. Apparently coral homes don’t allow you to build a pool close to the house even with piering. So we will probably have to move the house forward 600 to allow for 1m from the house. We have decided to do a large water feature with 2 waterfalls at the back of the pool which will be covered to in glass tiles. These are the colours we have chosen today at our pool selection. The price has gone up.. ahh now we are looking at 40,000 with all the mod cons included. Our pool will be 6 x 3m so a smaller size family pool. Looking forward to seeing your build start soon too! 😄 Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 68Nov 28, 2017 8:47 pm I’m so jealous your pool looks like it will be amazing Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 69Nov 28, 2017 8:58 pm BrownDog77 I’m so jealous your pool looks like it will be amazing Thanks BD. Coral are being a pain in the .... about it though. They aren’t happy with it close to the house and too late to bring our house forward 600mm. Since we are about to lodge to council. So now the design is going to be longer and skinnier like a mini lap pool still with water feature. I’m sure it will still look pretty, just not the shape I was going for. So it will have to be a 6.5m x 2.7m pool. 😁 Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 70Nov 28, 2017 9:20 pm mj-mac4 BrownDog77 I’m so jealous your pool looks like it will be amazing Thanks BD. Hopefully they will get onto the painting soon! Yeh for tiles and bath and the exciting bits are happening for you now. We are still waiting to hear from coral in a start date 🤨. No news yet, I’m starting to get a little impatient 😣 Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 77Jan 14, 2018 4:24 pm mj-mac4 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We did our Clipsal appointment today. We decided to include everything that we wanted rather than do after hand over purely for convenience as there will be so much going on after the build - fencing, landscaping, furnishing. And then our second house we have to start to tackle. We went $5,500 over our allowance. We had a $3,000 allowance. We were happy with the help Clipsal gave us, really good informative service. Hi MJ, we've got our Clipsal appointment coming up soon and were budgeting for $3000 as well but having seen this we will probably go well over. We definitely want downlights but might give the ceiling fans a miss. We're a bit unsure if we have a certain number of powerpoints/lights included in our tender letter. They're in the TL but they only say note next to them, not included. Was it the same for you? That pool design looks amazing by the way! Re: Building Grange 25 Coral Homes - Northern NSW 78Jan 15, 2018 11:56 am Hey moobog, I’m pretty sure you get 1 PowerPoint for each room. We needed additional as we wanted atleast 2 or more in living areas, kitchen and bedrooms. We had $3000 put in our tender for electrical and knew we would most probably go over as we just want everything done for move in day. Then at our electrical appointment we spent an extra $5000. That included outdoor power and a 2 phase connection for my hubbys power tools, pool pump power, fans, all down lights, dimmer switches, 2 way switches, etc. These extra items where the expensive ones. Do if you don’t need these it’s djoujdnt be too expensive. Hope that’s helps? 😄 Hi, I am wondering if anyone has built with Montgomery in the last few years on the Northern Beaches? I don't see the see them around, as I would love to ask how happy… 0 3452 We spent close to 2 years in a process with TA. It was horrible..... we got to tender, and the first cut was 50% over our budget which "they care such about meeting ".
