Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building Journey : Henley Reserve Aegean 38 21Aug 16, 2017 12:27 pm welcome to homeone! We arent building the Agean but the Sahara 40 with the domain facade which is on display at point cook! Although the front of these floor plans are similar due to the room over the garage etc.. We have just started construction so feel free to follow us on our journey! Re: Building Journey : Henley Reserve Aegean 38 22Aug 16, 2017 12:30 pm yes, right. plumbing work for cooling for $500. Zone heating is 3 zones. You can define the area's where you want it. Upstairs/downstairs or your selected area. that cost is extra apart from standard heating which heats up the whole house when switched on. Re: Building Journey : Henley Reserve Aegean 38 24Oct 12, 2017 7:39 pm VNSE I am considering to build Aegen 38 too I have not got back the site cost yet. This would be the only thing i worry about as my lot is at hill top with slight slop. laoskiwi do you mind if I am asking some upgrade price from Henley that they quote you ? 1. Ultimate Facade - What is the extra cost for rendering? 2. Do you raise your ceiling height ? I am thinking to do that to 2.7m 3. Floor tiling & carpet - do you go with Henely or do it with 3rd party after handover? 4. Did they offer you for electrical upgrade option ? Thanks laoskiwi Hello VNSE We are building Emporio 39 and opt the Ultima Facade with Front Render option. 1. Ultimate Facade - What is the extra cost for rendering? - Part Render $6400 and Front Render $11,100 2. Do you raise your ceiling height ? Cheers Building Journey : Henley Reserve Aegean 38 25Oct 12, 2017 9:35 pm In regards to the above I’m building the Aegean 38 and have done some research on flooring. Carpet call is the supplier for Henley. For cat 6 carpets and the deluxe underlay upstairs and in the theatre/lounge and hardwood floors, it was around $4k (!!!) cheaper to go direct. Downside is that the skirtings have to be painted and installed independently too. If you don't mind can you please pm me some pictures of the facade and kitchen, dining area. The display home is Aegean 45, so I am little bit worried if the Aegean 38 kitchen and dining area is small. Hi Sarabr, we were going to build the 45 but we wanted to prioritise the backyard for a pool so are currently building the 38. The kitchen bench is still massive and there’s plenty of room in the dining/living area. I’ll post some picks to give you an idea of the size. The butlers pantry is quite big and you would be able to fit a cooktop and rangehood but you wouldn’t have much space either side though. Sorry these are the best photos I’ve got of the butlers. I’ll check out the house tomorrow and get you some better pics.
