Not sure why so high ??? My brother is stage 11 and I am stage 16. Both got $30k fixed site cost from porter davis and Metricon respectively. It's due to the extremely reactive soil type. But we just have a bit of clay with no fill. There are a lot of factors that come into a high cost. Do you know if they need piers or not? The big builder C quoted me 28000 for my block in East Cranbourne and currently with Arden for half of that (fixed) and if all goes good - they will credit me back if I get lucky. I would be wary that its not just a provisional amount which may change after soil survey. Make sure you ask for "upfront" fixed site cost and can get your deposit back if it changes. I have done this and have it in writing. Re: Woodlea Stage 19 Henley site cost 9Jul 21, 2017 8:12 am Cellaraso 10k seems low for Woodlea. We paid 30 with Metricon. How is your build coming along? The fixed site costs are a good price, you're right. So far I have mixed feelings about the process 😂 Currently still waiting to get to site with the fees mounting up (N3 wind, surprise build over easement application for the earthworks; the house stops short of the easement but there will be dirt on itas they build so more fees). Hopefully get to site soon and be full steam ahead!
