We considered putting in the pool but it would be too much of a maintenance task. How much time do you guys spend on maintaining your lawns and gardens? Henley Reserve Ivory 62Jan 29, 2018 7:55 am thinkpanther Thanks. These pics are very helpful. We considered putting in the pool but it would be too much of a maintenance task. How much time do you guys spend on maintaining your lawns and gardens? We also decided the pool was not worth the maintenance and not worth sacrificing half our precious backyard for. The entertainment spaces we created have been fantastic and well used, all year round (not just summer)....they seem to a magnet for hoards of our daughters friends to descend upon but we are really happy about that... better here than roaming the streets! Re: Henley Reserve Ivory 63Jan 29, 2018 9:29 am What's your decking board, Libby? We're currently working out our hardscaping, as we'll be doing a lot of it after handover Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Re: Henley Reserve Ivory 64Jan 29, 2018 12:53 pm Drew01 What's your decking board, Libby? Does anyone care about neighbourhood character anymore? our blue sky/green view is slowly being eroded by greedy “progress” Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ ... Re: Henley Reserve Ivory 70Jan 03, 2019 7:45 pm That's crap isn't it... I'm over our council at the moment. I rang them to discuss the fences into their property (park, and road reserve) and got told they don't pay for fences, no debate. I asked if I just don't pay that amount from our rates, and they told me that the Sheriff will collect if we don't pay the rates... Yet when we cleared our block the tree huggers gave us massive amounts of grief over the only tree we removed that wasn't a native. Want the head arborists details? He's a tree nazi I chuckled at your tree hugger comment as that must be how I sound Their first planning permit was granted with some serious tree protection conditions placed on it...now 2 months later the conditions have been removed. Admittedly the conditions would have made it practically impossible to subdivide but we were pretty happy about that! We are devastated, as we currently have a very green and very private oasis to the rear of our house. Might have to throw a few more loud parties....they might regret building 5 metres from our fence. Hi, If you give a set of criteria as to what means 'good' to you, it'll give others prompts to respond. We considered Henley early on but there were two factors that… 1 10393 |
