It was still mainvue when we signed contracts hehe Follow our build on instagram @henley_ivory32 Our first build Mainvue Homes Ivory 436 / Henley Ivory 32 https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=86187 Re: Henley Reserve Ivory 24Jan 26, 2018 8:01 pm Hi Saint Girl, Hope you are enjoying your Ivory 32! Your blog is a great starting point for anyone considering a build on this design. We are thinking of putting in a deposit with Henley on the Ivory 32 but are held back because of the lack of a display. Can I ask you a big favour - would you mind giving us a tour of your house and backyard? I just love what you have done in your backyard! We have put a deposit on land in Tarneit where we are looking to build this house and are currently renting out in the city (St Kilda Rd). Thanks, Anant PS: I tried sending you a PM with more background info on us but couldn't as it seems that you have disabled private messaging (or thats what homeone tells me). Re: Henley Reserve Ivory 25Jan 26, 2018 11:04 pm Hi Anant, I’m not sure why people can’t PM me, I can send messages but not receive them. The Ivory is a great design. I kept a long, detailed blog during the build but have since deleted it. I. Sorry but we’d prefer not to have people touring, we’ve had quite a few requests, all of which we have declined so please don’t take it personally. I am absolutely happy to answer any questions, or post photos if that helps you. I have photos at all stages of the build and at completion. We made a few changes to the plans, so ours it a bit different to the standard floor plan. Good luck with your build, if you go with the Ivory, you won’t regret it Re: Henley Reserve Ivory 26Jan 26, 2018 11:08 pm Thanks for your reply and no worries. I am concerned about the width of the gallery where the three secondary bedrooms are. Is it wide enough? Can you please post some photos of it? Also, can you post a photo of the living-dining area from the kitchen island benchtop? We are planning to extend out whole house in length by 1.5m and want to how the standard living/dining area looks. Thanks! Henley Reserve Ivory 27Jan 26, 2018 11:28 pm I think the back hallway is fine. I’ve never thought of it as narrow. We didn’t have any issues getting furniture in. I’ll take a photo tomorrow for you. I’ll also take a photo of the living/dining area from the island bench for you. It’s a good sized space even without the extra you are adding. Here’s a photo taken from near the alfresco end. Henley are quoting $150 per door and I am told that its best to get it done through the builder.
