Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 17, 2017 10:04 pm Hey everyone, I'm building the Clovelly 248 from Fairhaven Homes. And would love to speak to others who are currently in the process of building a Clovelly home or will be. My land just titled on the 5th of June and settlement was yesterday. Building wise, I went and had my colours appointment about a week ago, so no contracts signed yet. Hopefully soon! Re: Fairhaven- Closely 248 :) 2Jul 17, 2017 2:25 pm Hi mate, Building the 248 as well. Have been dealing with Nathan from th Armstrong Creek office and has been fantastic. We were fed no bullsh%t and if they didn't know the answer to the question they simply said "Thats a good question, I don't know but Ill find out now for you!". Been pleasant so far, we are a while off building as our land titles in April 2018. would like to know a bit more about your colours appointment.... Re: Fairhaven- Closely 248 :) 3Jul 17, 2017 2:38 pm Hey guys, My partner and I are building the Closely 191 with a few upgrades. Our land was meant to title in April/May but been delayed until September this year so fingers crossed they get moving soon. We've also had our colour selection appointment which was overwhelming but awesome haha. Re: Fairhaven- Closely 248 :) 4Jul 17, 2017 2:53 pm stroud2512 Where did you do your colour appointment? (oops) We did our colour appt at the office in Berwick, it's quite small but there was a lot of choice and the inclusions were actually quiet decent but my partner and I upgraded a few of the bigger things (bricks, stone bench colour, shower heads, toilets etc) To give you an idea of pricing, I think all up we upgraded both toilets, an undermount sink, cat 8 grey bricks (thunderstorm by Selkirk which was $1600 for the whole house), extra bench colours, glass splash back colour and carpet to cat 3 (automatically upgraded the underlay to cat 2 which was very soft) - everything was $6,500! Which I thought was very reasonable for what we got! Look forward to seeing everyones build pics We are looking to do a KDR with fairhaven homes, Have seen plenty of good reviews about them pre construction and plenty of negative reviews about them during contruction… 0 18046 |
