Atleast now we know i guess and now we have time to make sure everything is perfect and how we want it. I knew when we were 6 months into the build that they weren't going to be finished in time. Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 150Nov 20, 2017 10:09 am That's awesome news so happy for you. We shouldn't be too far off. The issue we have is to try and stay in our rental it's up in December and the people are wanting to move in. That part is stressful and upsetting as we have 2 young kids to worry about. They have had 10 months to build our house and we have not had much rain. It's been a horrible experience for us from the beginning unfortunately. We will know more this week tho as my husband has demanded a meeting with ss and state manager this week to know the plan to get it over the line. I just hope the quality of the build is ok it's seems to be at the moment and for what we can see but until you get in there properly and have to time to look it's hard. The kids were so excited to be in before Christmas but it's not going to happen we have 4 weeks and 4 days till contract and the house isn't painted and it's 2 story it's impossible as they also require 2 weeks before handover to fix all the issues that would have come up on pci. We can only wait and see how it all works out I guess. Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 156Nov 20, 2017 8:56 pm Ryan2007 Hi Hailsm Fingers crossed for you I really honestly hope it works out for you!!! Just beautiful. Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13745 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 1755 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74688 |
