We had roof completed this week aswell as plumbing started, meet up with the electrican tomorrow for the plan and have been told by our SS that bricks will arrive by the end of week and be started monday next week. Told my Xmas well have plastering completed.. The owner of our building company has said we can expect handover in may 2018. Does this sound right? 5 months from lockup? Did your builder allow you to go in and put sticky notes on all the defects and will they fix these issues before handover or will it be an ongoing process. viewtopic.php?t=88323&f=31&p=1771329#p1771329 Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 220Dec 19, 2017 2:40 pm Its ours!!!!! Had gas bottles and garbage bins delivered. Gave everything a wipe over and moped the tiles. Still a few bits of stuff on them in places. The kids and I put up the tree and wrapped the front door. A house for Christmas. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4346 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74708 |
