We went with moondust in the double as well. It was the only brick my husband and I agreed on. Being a double, was just a bonus. No haven't built yet, should start by October. We haven't actually seen it on a house before. Hopefully we still like it once it's done Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 23Aug 02, 2017 5:37 pm Woohoo certified plans back today. Now to get a start date since our first date was 27th July Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 24Aug 07, 2017 8:07 pm The whole process is rather daunting building your first home. Firstly I would never buy land with a covenant again, we have had nothing but headaches. I found out today that my plans should never have been certified as they do no have covenant approval. Not to mention I applied for it over 2 weeks ago, they are now claiming to have not received it. To make matters even more of a joke, our building insurance ran out and the bank won't proceed till Coral rectify that. All I want is a start date Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 25Aug 09, 2017 10:47 am That's so frustrating H Family... I got stamped plans returned after covenant approval. Hope everything gets sorted for you quickly - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 26Aug 09, 2017 10:50 am Bridgetwitch That's so frustrating H Family... We really liked the Marcoola display at North Lakes but too big for our block. Is that the display you saw and is Steve your SC? We are waiting for our land to be registered at Newport and are building the Grange 25. We are hoping we will settle on our land in November and hopefully be in by this time next year. Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 37Aug 24, 2017 4:17 pm Spoke with our SS Luke he sounds great and booked in our first meeting. Also booked in our HSTP system on the 11th September. Everything is going ahead well Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 40Aug 27, 2017 8:48 pm fec88 Can't wait for your start date to arrive!! Looking forward to following your build! Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13745 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 1767 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74688 |
