We still don't have any gyprock onsite. Oh, sorry, it's only Tuesday ey? That was wishful thinking, lol. Well it was suppose to start either yesterday or today but hubby found a huge variation in the bricks. The SS brought in PGH bricks guy and the variation is huge. So now brickies will start Friday or Monday will head out tomorrow to see what has been happening. Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 112Oct 28, 2017 6:53 pm So we are at the end of week 7 and have the house partially waterproofed, they just need to do the floor according to hubby. Brick dilemma seems to be sorted. The double height bricks are holding alot of moisture said the PGH bricks guy. Brickies should start on Monday 2 weeks after when they should have Our front door handle has been installed too. SS has given us an approx completion date of the 18th December as long as everything goes to plan. Cross everything as our current home sold this week and settlement will be 18th Jan. It doesn't look finished either as they haven't done up to 1.8m in the shower and the flooring only has waterproofing in the corners where the wall meets the slab. Hoping we have a similar finishing time, we will find out our completion date in a couple of weeks according to our SS but we are at the same stage so hear is hoping we can get in by Xmas. We had already been to Beaumonts twice before our appointment. As for lighting I have purchased all pendants and LED downlights, still need to get ceiling fans. I have looked at the lighting allocation and electrical and I am getting a bit concerned we will go over by too much. Does anyone know the price clipsil charge to change batten lights to LED downlights. Small white (wavy pattern) feature in ensuite wall and splash back. Long white (stripe pattern) kitchen splash back. Rectangular grey bathroom, laundry walls. Square grey floors throughout large in living smaller in wet areas. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13773 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4350 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74709 |
