Browse Forums Building A New House Re: FOWLER HOMES BELMONT 35 21Jun 25, 2018 9:05 am Plan looks great and the external colors look like they are all coming together. Seems your admin stage went fairly fast!! And the progress since February has been pretty good too. You read stories of over 12 months in admin stage so seems you’ve been very lucky! Re: FOWLER HOMES BELMONT 35 22Jul 03, 2018 11:29 am Admin took about 8months we didnt make many changes and our colors was done quick. I understand why admin takes abit longer than usual. And after knowing the industry abit better I respect the reasons for it but yeah I think 6-8months should be a fair target. We accepted our tender on 26 April 2017 Our build has certainly been great no problems and consistantly moving forward. Re: FOWLER HOMES BELMONT 35 24Jul 03, 2018 2:08 pm edestus I need to do something with the front facade Thinking of adding matrix cladding to brake up the brick work I can see that working really well. Which part of the facade were you thinking? Re: FOWLER HOMES BELMONT 35 25Jul 03, 2018 5:16 pm edestus I need to do something with the front facade Thinking of adding matrix cladding to brake up the brick work It’s the same as the facade you originally posted, hopefully the matrix cladding won’t look like it’s tacked on if you go ahead. How come the windows ended up opposite, the top and bottom ones should match like the drawing, was that a request or a mistake? Speak to the builder and see what he reckons, how it could be attached to look like it was intended. Better to sort now while the scaffolding is still there. Re: FOWLER HOMES BELMONT 35 29Jul 05, 2018 12:11 pm That looks really good, and agree with gillybean, the cladding works really well. Nice choice in colours also. I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending.
