At this rate you'll be started before we even have approvals in place. I hope so. I believe it when I see it with my own two eyes. But sounds promising and they have been good to deal with so far and have worked hard to make sure it goes smoothly. Re: Our First Home - Ballarat - We have a Building Permit ! 243Feb 12, 2018 8:51 pm I have just caught up on your thread. You’ve been through so much already! Hopefully you’ll have a slab before you know it. Loving your style, I can’t wait to see your Selections come together. Re: Our First Home - Ballarat - We have a Building Permit ! 244Feb 13, 2018 6:37 am Thank you for your kind words. Yes. Been a few twists and turns, but got there in the end. Hopefully, the house comes together. Some garden inspo pics I like to have some of the elements in our garden, especially the concrete looking planter boxes. Who knows if we could do it ourselves. My partner father was a concreter and partner a boilermaker. So might be able too. I'm a big fan of the combination of concrete with timber. I'm hoping I'll be able to have a timber/concrete front fence (no covenants that I know about or listed on my lands section 32). Fairhaven Homes - Clovelly 191 Re: Our First Home - Ballarat - Bedroom Ideas 248Feb 24, 2018 3:48 pm Well nothing has happened on the site. Oh well. Next week. Anyway, I draggggggggggged my poor partner (he hates shopping) to beacon lighting. And we liked nothing except for the fan we already picked out. Then we went back to Focus Furniture and sat on the sofa that I had picked out (not committed) to yet and I found it wasn't comfortable this time. Scratch it off the list. So then I went down and looked again at the bedroom furniture I had chosen to date (again not committed too). Guess what. I don't like it now. Grrrr. So poor partner was draggggggggged into Harvey Norman. Now early January I had seen this bed I loved but was given the No. So I went back to have another look at it. But it was gone. However, they still sell it, but have another model on the show room floor. Again I asked (consulted) partner what he thought. He still wasn't overly keen. I said well you only have to sleep in it. I have to sleep in it, make it, change it, look at it every day. So between the two which one do you like. Haha. He likes bed 2 out of them. What do you guys think. Bed one.
