Thanks MrsJM, your house is stunning. Maybe we can do a swap? haha
So exciting that your build is kicking off. I already loved all your selections but seeing them all in one spot at the same time like that, wow!!! It's going to be a stunning home. Can't wait to see everything come to life for you.

And we're off..

Dirt delivery was a few nights ago.

Today I dropped by the site to have a look and was surprised that fencing, portaloo and site has been scrape, even with the rain the last few days.

Yay for dirt!
Following along

Thanks JG. yeh we decide to go with neutral colours to start off, then can add colours afterwards in certain areas as needed.

Would have loved to have 5 acres to play with like you.. We wanted a pool but couldn't fit it in.

Your build is looking great.

That's what we did also

Aw hehe. There's always a spa!

Thanks so much!

Went to the land to play with my cheap drone and took these aerial photos, not the best and not very exciting right now. haha

Hopefully should be better once there's more action on the site.

Still cool to get these shots, and as you say will be even better once the construction takes off....

No contact from SM yet, I believe no they wont until the slab is down.

Yeh wished we had an opened staircase or the builder was willing to do it.

I'll probably find my own way of lighting the stairs after handover.
Been looking into Tesla Powerwall 2 as we're interested in getting this installed after handover.

Energy Australia now do solar and Tesla Powerwall 2 installs now (previously Powerwall 1).

The best part of this is the payment plan;

Get solar power for $0 upfront on a 5 year interest free payment plan*

That would be pretty good spreading out the payment over 5 years. Has anyone out there taken up this install?

Correct your SS generally doesn't get passed your file until after the slab is correct. From what i was told W use one main contractor to put the slabs. So it just depends on how many pours are in front of yours as to how long you have to wait.
Thankfully once the slab is cured plumbing and frames really take off quickly and them you're away.....

I'm sure it can't come quick enough....

I'm guessing you are just going to miss out on an xmas handover, or is there still some hope? I know W try and wrap up a lot of builds that are close prior to xmas. (Ie put extra resources into these builds that are close)
