Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 01, 2017 1:48 pm Hi. We have approached 3 builders and we have been rejected all times as we are on a busy road with restrictions ok Stopping and traffic We have been referred to Beautiful New Homes. I have tried searching but I am unable to get more information regarding them about reviews / experiences. Anyone have built / dealt with them before? Thanks Re: Masterton Direct -Beautiful New Homes Feedback 2Jul 28, 2017 1:18 pm It may be too late, but ... From what I know, they are a middle man company, which can design a custom house, do council approval and get Masterton to build it. As far as I know Masterton do not design custom houses themselves. We used them, as our block required a custom house, not happy at all. I was promised the first version in two weeks, in two months they produced a copy paste version from Masterton catalog, which had nothing in common with what I requested them to do. In the end I had to design my own house and get them to draw it. Apart from that lots of broken promises and delays. I thought once I get past these guys, my build will be better with Masterton, who have been on the market for decades. Nothing of the kind, Masterton themselves were no better. Highly NOT recommend both. 2014 30/05 $3900 25/08 Contracts 02/10 DA submitted 2015 17/02 DA approved 02/04 Colors 10/04 Demo 09/07 Construction start 27/07 Fill 15/08 Slab 21/09 Frame 2016 08/01 Bricks Re: Masterton Direct -Beautiful New Homes Feedback 3Sep 28, 2017 1:50 am We used BNH for a custom duplex. They then outsourced to Residential Logistics to draw up the plan. The process of design etc wasn't too bad but at the end of the day, you're then stuck with Masterton who are terrible. We are 13 months on from when construction commenced and still aren't at lock up. Communication is virtually not existent. We are onto our 6th Site Supervisor. I would not recommend BNH for this reason. Re: Masterton Direct -Beautiful New Homes Feedback 4Nov 28, 2017 8:23 pm Very good at doing nothing nothing nothing of course there are legal avenues. You've already mentioned it. Sue them. I find it odd that lawyers wouldnt be willing to take on the case, given CCT evidence and… 1 23764 Hey guys, what’s everyone opinion on James Hardie linea direct fix to frame? Would this be the most common method and anybody ever had any problems down the track? 0 5150 Thanks Simon, I guess I'm no concerned with the volume of the noise rather that dead and hollow sound and feel that is associated with floating floors.
