Wow, your build is definitely coming together and what a lovely house you have there! Re: Building at Bardia - New Breeze 1245Dec 18, 2019 11:29 am Thanks We are very excited! It should end up looking like the below. We wanted to render the whole house but it's too expensive, so, just doing the front facade. We are doing this layout: https://uniluxehomes.com.au/property/balmoral-30/ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Building in New Breeze, Stage 3 Parkside Bardia Re: Building at Bardia - New Breeze 1246Dec 19, 2019 11:22 pm Hey guys just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them.. I’m 2 weeks away from completion and council has asked my private certifier to withdraw the CDC approval and force me into doing a DA because there was a compliance issue made by the private certifier. 2 weeks away from completion and they want me to start an application again? Is this a joke or what. Re: Building at Bardia - New Breeze 1247Dec 19, 2019 11:25 pm Hasan Hey guys just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them.. Is this a joke or what. I haven't heard of that and it hasn't happened to me. Were you meant to move in in two weeks? Did council say what happens next like how long it could take for a DA? I went through a private certifier too. Currently half way through build. Good luck with everything! Building in New Breeze, Stage 3 Parkside Bardia Re: Building at Bardia - New Breeze 1248Dec 21, 2019 6:06 pm Hi , i have bought land in Bardia Avenue , our lot is rear loaded (i.e. rear lane with garage at back) . I am working with builder to have double garage built on zero lot without setback from neighbor easement. i have advised , council will not approve for double garage but will allow single garage without setback. Does anyone submitted with similar requirements particularly lots in Bardia Avenue & approved by DA ? please share if you have details on this regards, Thanks Re: Building at Bardia - New Breeze 1249Dec 24, 2019 10:24 pm Hi all This has probably been talked about in this group before... But this includes all council services; bin service, council clean up etc. Mine is over 2k. I paid it off annually, but you can pay off the third installment in small blocks. Call the council and they'll arrange a plan. Re: Building at Bardia - New Breeze 1260Jan 07, 2020 11:28 am Hi all, Happy New Year! Council got back to me in regards to the sound barrier. Although someone told me on the phone that they had plans to build it, this is what a a member from the environmental team replied to me: Hi Nicole, With reference to your enquiry, there are no plans to construct a sound wall along the boundary of Bardia with the M31. Noise attenuation in the development was assessed as part of the original subdivision (DA1281/2017/DA-SW) and is addressed via restrictions on certain land. The restriction is applied mainly to land in the Stage 2 release which is closest to the M31 and requires that new dwellings are designed to implement the measures and controls contained within the DA Noise and Vibration Assessment Report prepared by Wilkinson Murray Pty Ltd, Dated August 2016. This assessment was based on a fully developed scenario, so noise impact (on dwellings further from the M31) should improve as more dwellings are completed. Regards Fletcher I haven't replied yet. Does anyone want me to say anything in particular or pass on any comments? You can of course contact them directly too to put some pressure on. Just thinking of the best way to approach this...
