Unfortunately it's DA for me. With CDC, I wasn't getting to maximise the house size and had many constraints which effected my choose of design. Re: Building at Bardia - New Breeze 471Feb 04, 2018 1:55 pm Went for a drive earlier today and can say from what i saw it looks 95% complete. There was a pile of top soil on every block im assuming they will spread this out on the block to finish it off. Other than that there was one part of Bruce Ferguson ave that they need to do the footpath. All roads and laneways have been completed from what i saw. Also there is a few slabs that have been poured from the previous releases and i did see a few at frame stage. Thought Id do a quick post of appreciation for the amazing information and work that has come from the regular contributors to this thread! I took a look at the estate on saturday (out of frustration looking at panania duplexes and finding nothing that fit! literally 10 mins down the freeway and bardia!) After reading this amazing thread, educating myself on the DCP and building costs etc we went and purchased Lot 5128- Ive never made such a huge decision so fast- but it just made sense! So thanks again for all the information and updates! I look forward to "meeting" fellow neighbours and going through this exciting/stressful/complicated but hopefully rewarding journey together ;) -Em Re: Building at Bardia - New Breeze 474Feb 06, 2018 3:38 pm Bardia5128 Hello! The sales rep did mention that we should be registered (5128 ) all at the same time with the same release as the inspection etc goes all at once. The documentation being distributed at the moment says April 2018 but verbally late march to early april- apparently all are ready to go development wise but they are just waiting on council to rubber stamp it. I don't know if that information helps anyone work out time frames etc -Em and i promise no more posts for today- just realised how to edit posts lol Re: Building at Bardia - New Breeze 478Feb 06, 2018 3:47 pm Bardia5128 Oh and as for updates- as I went on site yesterday- I can confirm we have recycled water and drinking water connections (yay no tanks!)
