You can buy a house with zero money upfront and use yout equity and only pay monthly excess. When property is up, you can sell it. Buying land at bardia is good idea, possible still going up till about 1800 prr sqm in 2019-2020. If you have cash to hold it, then buy it. Remember, Dahua will still selling other land at the same time. My hubby was thinking about buying land in Schofileds almost 4 years ago- 3 long and narrow lots were something around $350K there.. it was far away from us, no infrastructure, no trains, difficult commute- we thought it was not worth it... and here we are) home and land packages are 900K there and still going up. We were told that construction costs may increase by 30K within a year..
