It's very similar to my own one but with interesting differences. Wish I had put a guest and powder room on the ground floor Re: Custom House Build - Concord NSW 9Jun 16, 2017 12:05 pm Frame work almost complete , hopefully starting brickwork on Monday: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Wish we made the dining room a meter wider: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Generally progress slower than we hoped given slab was poured before Anzac Day, but progress nonetheless Re: Custom House Build - Concord NSW 10Jun 16, 2017 12:39 pm Chin up mate. Patience is a virtue that's for sure. As we get to colder and wetter weather it's time to swallow that bitter pill and be even more patient hahahah. On a positive note though, those Windows in the dining room will be great. There is already lots of light and with so much glass, it will feel bigger due to the fact of the size and breadth of the Windows. I hope the next stage of brick work isn't too delayed, but in my case we had about 8 weeks delay for our brick layers. Re: Custom House Build - Concord NSW 11Jun 25, 2017 8:08 pm We were lucky enough to have a good week of brickwork and was surprised to see the brickies at it yesterday: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We ended up choosing Blue Steel Flash as our main bricks with some of the fascade being rendered: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Looks like good weather so hopefully more progress! Re: Custom House Build - Concord NSW 16Oct 26, 2017 11:46 am Looks great! That scaffold will be coming down soon I'd say. I guess they want to paint the eaves before taking it down. Looks like they have already painted the cladding so shouldn't be long now. On the home straight now! Re: Custom House Build - Concord NSW 17Oct 26, 2017 11:48 am Scaffold is down - the picture is slightly older - all external work is complete except for painting of some downpipes. Rainwater tank needs to be craned into position, and garage door fitted. Re: Custom House Build - Concord NSW 19Nov 06, 2017 11:26 am Tiling work mostly done. Nice pick with the paint colours! 1 26163 |
