No offense PIP, but 13months... what are you waiting for???? I would have taken it further ages ago.....It enfuriates me that as purchasers we are expected to just wait....... and be happy that something will be done, soon... I agree with you, it infuriates me too that they expect us too wait, or just go away, which I definately won't be doing. Re: All Past & Present CARLISLE HOMES Clients, Click Here! 10Aug 21, 2008 10:24 am Oh, that's awful, PIP - that sort of thing just totally sours the whole "excited to be building a beautiful new home" experience! Let's hope it all gets resolved to your satisfaction - and SOON!
And, yes, will be interested to read Matt's FULL commentary on this topic! Solidarity, not solidity.......The Lexicon of Life Re: All Past & Present CARLISLE HOMES Clients, Click Here! 12Aug 21, 2008 11:29 am Won't we all....
I know I shouldn't be smiling in such a situation..... But I dare not think of Matt's full comentary........ I know it will be more than interesting and possibly an eye opener..... Some of the directors are a lot more helpful than others! JD is very helpful whilst DM is (in my experience) unhelpful and downright spiteful. (see my blog re the 'suprise' visit during retaining walls) If I can help with adresses and phone numbers feel free to send me a PM... Re: All Past & Present CARLISLE HOMES Clients, Click Here! 14Aug 21, 2008 3:08 pm Hi Matt,
I have written a letter to 'JD', who gave it to 'G' the maintenance guy to handle. 'G' has since been out to my house & is due to come back within the next few weeks so we will see what happens then. I am soooo over the whole issue. This was over something that I wasn't happy about at the 3 month maintenance inspection, which was initially fobbed off, but I have refused to budge. Obviously I don't want to go into too much detail at the moment, as I said we will see what happens. I have been reading your blog for ages now (very entertaining) I should have hired you to handle my dispute , but I've been going back over it looking for your 'surprise visit' & can't find it. Anyway I hope everything works out for you & I still may need to PM if I don't get anywhere. Cheers, Pip.
