It might not be a construction date but it's something. Watermains installed. Developer approval also got stamped late last week. As it stands, we are 9 weeks after signing contract and have had no indication from Henley on when construction will commence. Last communication was that building permits had not even been lodged. Not the greatest start as we were promised 6-8 weeks for the building to start. Plus the right hand side of our rear fence has been knocked down and rebuilt. Long story but we ended up with a 15cm drop in the middle of our fence, due to sharing our rear boundary with 2 neighbors. We all paid for the same height, somehow, one side was 1.95m and the other side 1.8m. It's rewarding to finally see it all uniform. 10 days until tender! 😁 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Oh yes that would have annoyed me to no avail!! I hate seeing mismatched fences! the way all of our blocks have been cut where we are not we risk having staggeref fencing but where possible I am going to ensure they are all level! Re: Our Henley Build - Amalfi 30 44Oct 09, 2017 10:59 am Progress update: We have a loo! Hubby went to the block over the weekend to find Henley had dumped one on us 😆 #pardonthepun. Today we officially had confirmation from our construction administrator that our slab will be in the ground in the next 2-3 weeks (weather permitting). Received a call from our site supervisor, letting us know our site had been cut yesterday. Naturally, my fiancé and I couldn’t help but go for a look 😆. The excitement has set in! I was sooo excited when our site was cut and the slab was laid, however the excitement for us has died off, week 13 and things have been going extremely slow for us but hopefully things will pick up soon. Over the past couple of weeks, the guys at Henley have been very busy on our house. We now have frame up, fascias and gutters have been installed, along with the roof and plumbing. In addition to this, the house has since been wrapped, heating and cooling done and electrical installed. This week the guys have started bricks and plaster.
