Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Our Henley Build - Amalfi 30 21Jun 19, 2017 7:40 pm Hi Everyone,
Our colour appointment went wall, even though we thought we were prepared it was still quite overwhelming. We didn't shy too far away from the colours I originally posted. Our exterior colours are: - Monument colourbond roof, gutters and down pipes - Austral Brick - Iron. - Foxdale Render to the master bedroom and retreat. - Black Aluminim windows - White ripple effect tiles to the pillars Ensuite, we have modified this completely. Once we get the drawings, I'll update everyone. Ensuite colours are: - Greta Charcoal Matte tile to floor and walls. - Stack stone feature tile to false wall. - Black laminex nuance finish cabinetry. Powder Room 1: - Greta Charcoal Matte tile to floor and walls. - Black Marble Hexagon tile feature wall behind basin. - Sand Orleans Oak Nikpol Bench. Powder Room 2 & Main Bathroom: - Greta Charcoal Matte tile to floor and walls. - Snow White ceaser stone bench top. - Black laminex nuance finish cabinetry. Laundry: - Greta Charcoal Matte tile to floor. - Snow White ceaser stone bench top. - Black laminex nuance finish cabinetry. - Polar white silk finish overhead cupboards. Kitchen/ Butlers: - Polar white silk finish cabinetry - Snow White ceaser stone bench tops. - Splash backs to be completed post handover. Wall Paint: - Lexicon Quater White to ceiling, skirting & architraves. - Lexicon to walls. Carpet and flooring to be done after handover. We have very similar taste 😉 How much did they end up stinging you for the stack stone? Re: Our Henley Build - Amalfi 30 28Jun 19, 2017 10:32 pm Hailz_6 Aegean430 I've chosen the stackstone tile too. When I had my tender around 3-4 months ago, I was quoted around $525 for stackstone to one wall around mirror in bathroom but then I requested it as the splashback to the laundry and they quoted me over $3k! I had my admin double check that it wasn't a typo and she said estimating confirmed that was the cost. Henley are so inconsistent with their pricing, so who knows what they'll say. 🤞🏼 it's a low price for you. Soil test and land survey appears to have been done and dusted. Plus the right hand side of our rear fence has been knocked down and rebuilt. Long story but we ended up with a 15cm drop in the middle of our fence, due to sharing our rear boundary with 2 neighbors. We all paid for the same height, somehow, one side was 1.95m and the other side 1.8m. It's rewarding to finally see it all uniform. 10 days until tender! 😁 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Our Henley Build - Amalfi 30 30Jul 07, 2017 8:30 pm Hailz_6 Big day for our block today. Good luck with the tender !! Thanks Manj Re: Our Henley Build - Amalfi 30 33Jul 18, 2017 3:43 pm mel.mak Loove all your colour selections! Hey in your first pic what is the colour of the stain timber you have? Im guessing that will be front door? Hi Mel, Yep, that's our front door and our internals. We chose to have this a charcoal stain to match our black windows Re: Our Henley Build - Amalfi 30 36Jul 21, 2017 10:33 am Tender and contract signed over the weekend! Only change to the colour selection was the beautiful Stataurio Maxiumus Ceaserstone bench tops. This came back at 11k which we could not justify. Henley approved to delete the splashback in the kitchen which we will now do after handover. We’ve chosen Cat 2 Snow Ceaser for the bench tops and will source a marble look splashback at a later date.
