These are usually $299-$349, we tested it out instore and loved it. I have started packing up our little rental, its lease is up in a month so we are moving in with my husbands parents until the house is done. We will have to get a storage shed for all our stuff this week so I've started packing and sorting in preparation. The coming weeks should bring cladding, eaves and gyprock. They are very wow! where are you getting your lights from? they are amazing!!! I would love to get something similar for our staircase Re: First Home - Custom Design in South Ripley - BRICKS FINI 86Jul 30, 2017 4:43 pm Nice bricks and mortar allblaqk. And those lights are going to look spectacular! Bring on the plasters. Re: First Home - Custom Design in South Ripley - BRICKS FINI 87Jul 30, 2017 7:21 pm Thanks guys, the top light is from bunnings but i think a few places sell it. I found bunnings was the cheapest. The second ones are actually from ebay, so we will see if they even look like that. I found an online store that sells them but the ebay ones were about $550 cheaper to get so i'm going to give it a shot. I'm really excited for plaster henry, i hope it happens this week Re: First Home - Custom Design in South Ripley - BRICKS FINI 88Jul 30, 2017 11:58 pm Wow allblaqk, all of your light is looking great. Yeah, I have also seen some pendants and downlight in ebay which is very similar to beacon but you will get in cheaper price. Hope it will be similar to the photo when it comes in hand. Re: First Home - Custom Design in South Ripley - BRICKS FINI 90Jul 31, 2017 1:41 pm Nice shopping allblacqk... love the pendants ❤️ - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: First Home - Custom Design in South Ripley - BRICKS FINI 91Jul 31, 2017 7:07 pm Peter112 Wow allblaqk, all of your light is looking great. Thanks everyone Peter I just hope they don't burn the house down or something! Haha you never know! Re: First Home - Custom Design in South Ripley - BRICKS FINI 92Aug 05, 2017 10:30 am Not much in terms of progress this week, our cladding is nearly finished, and our eaves are half done and that's all that's really changed since last week. Hopefully next week will bring gyprock! Re: First Home - Custom Design in South Ripley - BRICKS FINI 93Aug 05, 2017 12:14 pm Found your thread! We aren't far from you - in fact we spent many weekends at Ripley display village trying to figure out what builder we liked. Your house is looking great! It seems to be moving at a good speed. I like your bricks - we too went with a lighter coloured brick and didn't want to spend extra on mortar. I am kind of regretting this decision now, but my husband keeps reminding me that eventually we will render over it so it won't matter. I've also read that the mortar lightens up after awhile. We wanted light brick to contrast the dark roof and gutters and garage door. I can't even picture what this house is going to look like haha. Yes, I'm really happy at the speed but there have been some days/weeks with nothing going on which is annoying LOL. I am hoping the mortar lightens up too. I wish we went light as I wanted it to blend with the Render on the front and now it wont. I'm sure your house will look great, with a nice contrast Re: First Home - Custom Design in South Ripley - BRICKS FINI 95Aug 05, 2017 12:26 pm allblaqk RachM Found your thread! We did look at land in Ripley but it waas a little too far out for us and where the kids school is etc. Its a lovely spot though, I love the little park there!
