Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 09, 2017 10:14 am Hi Guys, I've been stalking these forums for a while now. My fiance and I have decided that we will be building with Henley Reserve (previously Mainvue). We titled our land just under a year ago, and have been battling on which version of the Amalfi to build. We originally seen and fell in love with the Amalfi 33 (previously Amalfi 632) at Greenvale Gardens. But after doing some research, I can see a lot of you have opted to go the Amalfi 30 (530). Can I ask for some feedback why 30 over 33? From what I can see its basically the same floor plan only condensed? Secondly, has as anyone built the Amalfi 33 that could also offer me some feedback. Thanks in advance =) Re: Our Henley Build - Amalfi 30 vs 33 2May 11, 2017 11:12 am Sorry I Think new Amalfi 27 is old AM530 and Amalfi 30 is AM532 Personally I like 632 because of wider entry and bigger theatre. Having said that 530 is great value. Build Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89524 Re: Our Henley Build - Amalfi 30 vs 33 3May 15, 2017 1:41 pm Shoot! You're right.. We like those too. However we measured out those spaces and found them only to be marginally smaller. Are you looking to build the 33? How have you found the building process with Henley, have they been kind to you? Re: Our Henley Build - Amalfi 30 vs 33 12May 27, 2017 11:15 am Our build has been a slow burn. We initially inquired while the Amalfi was still under the Mainvue banner.. We submitted a couple of different variations for the kitchen and ensuite, changed the size of the house from 33 to 30 over the time, and found them to be nothing but patient with us. I'm glad we waited though - the inclusions with the Reserve banner are insane! Good luck with your colour appointment. Do you know what colour scheme you want to go with? Re: Our Henley Build - Amalfi 30 vs 33 13May 28, 2017 7:56 am We looked at alot of builder but the inclusions for henley reserve are the best. We loved the colors at the williams landing display so mostly copying the color scheme from there. Its very warm and makes the house look very grand. We sold our first house which was a single storey on a 12x32 (400sqm) we knew we wanted more land so it was either buy a large block and build single or buy a bit bigger and build double... we decided ton a 14x32 and are building the sahara! Otherwise the amalfi was definitely on our list!
