they have confirmed the drains are going to be fixed up.
hoping it won't take too long as everything else "should" be done by end of next week.

Did they say it was a mistake or are they sticking to their 'no longer do them' story? https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_ ... are_type=t Re: JG King Lexington 240 - final fit out 143Sep 19, 2017 10:09 pm this was the reply this morning... so no I would not say they feel it was a mistake, but at the end of the day we are getting what asked for so I'm happy. "After a lot of deliberation, I have decided that we will install the tiled concealed waste. I have given <supervisor> this instruction and he will be actioning this immediately." and the reality of this build is this has been one of only 2 issues and it was fixed with a few emails back and forward. (if I was in the country prob would have been fixed even faster with a quick call) The other issue was the glass and was an instant "ah yes see where that went wrong I'll sort that out for you" JG King Lexington 240 Acreage build https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87762 Re: JG King Lexington 240 - final fit out 144Sep 19, 2017 11:16 pm You really have had a dream build. I can't even comprehend only 2 issues . I think we have only had 2 things that haven't had an issue, bricks being one, and I can't even think of another . Maybe render? Although they did install the masterwall way out of plumb. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_ ... are_type=t Re: JG King Lexington 240 - final fit out 145Sep 21, 2017 10:45 pm so got a quick email from the Supervisor today.. SO fingers crossed when I fly home we are ready for PCI! Already bought and downloaded the PCI check list so I can familiarize myself with it. Also ordered a Sign for the front gate to install after move in, same style as the example below think it will look good on a wood farm fence. Also contacted google maps as they had our address 4 properties up to get that fixed up for deliveries after move in. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Plush have informed us our new couch has arrived so that will get delivered straight after move in, waiting to hear from focus re the rest of the furniture and 40 winks for the new bed. Also just might have done another buy up from Sheridan with the recent sale for a few more items... looks like it all coming together. We were having something similar being made! Oh and the drain looks 100% better, great job on standing your ground. Not too long at all now, must be super excited. Re: JG King Lexington 240 - final fit out 147Sep 24, 2017 8:22 pm Looking great! Love the rusty sign it will look good on a farm fence... I was going to get a big rusty screen for our old house plan but haven't thought about it with this new plan, I don't know we have a reason for it now. (I wanted it to hide a brick wall/gap) Re: JG King Lexington 240 - final fit out 148Sep 28, 2017 2:39 pm So a bit of TBT (throw back thursday) being that I'm still overseas and cannot see the house... this is a first build/house either my wife or myself have owned we have been renting prior to this. So here are some pics of the house I have been living in for the past 12 years till now. as you might see, it's a little different to the approach we have gone with for our build. exterior Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Lounge room..(note the air conditioner that in the Original lease did say is non working and will not be fixed, which went great with the fact there was no insulation at all in the house) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ main Bedroom with the sexy built in robes..you might also note the lack of heating, so we had portable heaters to warm the place, record was a 1600$ power bill for a quater.. That house was cheap only $260 a week rent, and considering that it sold for just under 800K not a huge return on investment for the owners. but when I moved in I was single, traveling for work and it was 12 min drive from my then office. basiclly it was a place to store stuff and crash after going out drinking. ie a great Bachelor Pad Wife is very much looking forward to the new place as she is stuck there more than me! that said landing back in AU on Sat and so looking forward to seeing how close it is to being finished after not being able to see it for 3.5 weeks... Will be boxing up the extra bit on the driveway today and pouring it in the morning. so as soon as the paint is done we get final inspection and then in within 2 weeks of that. so he is sure it will be this month just not sure which day (will depend on how much we find on inspection). little disappointed it not this week (And doubt supervisor will use this guy again as he's really annoyed as he was waiting out there for him to turn up) anyhow some pics.. carpet is down (fly screens are in as you can see from crappy picture...) What colour is your bench top? I can't tell if its a light grey like ours or if its dirty and white! We are doing a grey light grey bench top.. can't remember the name now but its one of the new essay stone colours, white at the top and dark grey at the bottom. The splash back we were going to do a grey in-between the light and dark so a mid grey, but now are doing a white tile with grey marbling. Re: JG King Lexington 240 - final fit out 156Oct 03, 2017 9:54 pm It's going to be darker. Re: JG King Lexington 240 - final fit out 158Oct 10, 2017 8:15 pm so.... PCI Monday apparently paint done, concrete finished, clean booked for tomorrow Caulking Thursday. they tweaking the hanging of doors and draws but should be ready by Monday. had a call with them yesterday after got back from Bathurst nand he was unsure on times for a few things, called back this evening at 5:30 and said we good for Monday, wife had day off work and all... excited to say the least! (apparently was told to be there today or not bother turning up again) so not much to see outside. they had been in with a bob cat and built up around the house and to the drive/alfresco which was nice. the window tot he master was severely scratched considering the protective film was on it till the clean on Thursday indicates the cleaners did not use a clean rag and did the damage, that is going to be replaced after handover he expects as doubts can get them in in time. lots of paint touch ups inside house. a few doors need a tweek 1 smoke detector is beeping bit of messy caulking to be cleaned up jets in the stove still need to be swapped for Bottle gas so all in all not too bad, plumber was onsite and commissioned the septic so no hold ups there, he sending off to council so will have that finished this week But the most important thing... hand over date. We have been told 31st Oct as 100% date. however will work towards getting us in on the 27th but will confirm next week. anyhow a few pics main bathroom Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ a sample WIR Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ spare room views Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ laundry Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ powder room Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ ensuite Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ master WIR Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ and finally the kitchen done and lit up..
