Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 07, 2017 11:44 am Hi everyone, again i need information on the restrictions of building driveway over a sewer manhole! The land we are looking to buy has this man hole close to the side where our driveway will be. 5m from the left boundary. I guess driveway has to be 5.6m wide+ 0.9m side setback. As it will definitely come under driveway area. We dont have the option of switching the driveway to the other hand side as it got a padmount easement (padmount located in The adjacent lot, but we have the easement). Just trying to find out whether the lot is worth buying or is it going to be a huge cost factor in terms of building the driveway over it?
