Not to sure if your still looking for feed back but we had a horrible experience with distinctive homes.
We are now building with Fairmont homes. So far its been great 😊
We are currentky signed with distinctive. So far so good. We are awaiting council approval for our KDRB in prospect. Our footibgs came in almost 6k under budget!

what did they do ?
Over charged us 20,000$ in our footings....
Then tried to tell us if another builder didnt charge us $48,000 in footings they will sting us throughout the build.
We are 4 weeks away from handover now with fairmont homes and have not encountered any extra costs our footing also came in at 27,000$.
They made the start of our building journey an absolute nightmare as we had no trust in anybody.

Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk.

I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending. All their existing trades and businesses don't work with…
