Mostly happy with them. Roof framework should be going up this week. We have a rough completion date of end of December. Just had to renew our rental lease to the end of the year. Hoping we are in before Christmas. Our neighbour's are already at lock up. We had settlement on the same day, so they are building their house very quickly. (drum roll please!) We have a slab!!! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And some soak wells waiting to go in... Yippee!! Re: HGWA in Calleya Estate 73Jul 24, 2017 9:58 pm Wow! How long did it take from tap to slab?? @Madora Dreamer Re: HGWA in Calleya Estate 74Jul 24, 2017 11:02 pm Madora Dreamer, we got our tap on June 3rd. And of course slab today. So that's about 3 months. Such a frustrating, long wait! But HGWA are notorious for long admin processes. Hope your wait is not as long. Re: HGWA in Calleya Estate 76Jul 26, 2017 11:40 pm Not sure when my tap went in but it was less than 3 months ago, hadn't been there for 6 weeks as it was depressing that nothing was happening, and now it is raining.... @Madora Dreamer Re: HGWA in Calleya Estate 78Jul 28, 2017 11:27 pm Mrsxtro01 I hear your pain, Madora Dreamer. It is super depressing when nothing happens. The only thing I can say is that EVENTUALLY it WILL happen! Two men there this morning digging trenches. I am unsure of what stage it Is but plumbing areas have pipes and the slab site is dug out. There is sheets of wire which I assume is to strengthen the slab. Think I will be visiting weekly now! @Madora Dreamer Re: HGWA in Calleya Estate 80Aug 04, 2017 12:10 am Despite rain, rain and more rain the builders did manage to get the drainage (soak wells etc) completed, the termite treatment done, the site levelled and cleared and the bricks delivered. Unfortunately, the word on the street is that because of all the rain the bricklayers are all behind on other jobs so there may well be a delay of 1-2 weeks to commence our brick work. Bummer!
