My 4yr old is just getting into it and I have planned a lego crn in his new room. We have a monster box of it from when my hubby was a little boy. I think Santa will add to it this year! https://www.homeone.com.au/member/bribiebell Re: Coral Homes Build SEQ - modified Grange 20 142Jul 17, 2017 6:54 pm klea, love your kitchen and your Nile Sand tiles are awesome. We originally chose Nile Grey 450mm x 450mm with Space White 300mm x 600mm at our first meeting at Beaumonts! Then we changed our minds. What's lego man up to 'this week? Re: Coral Homes Build SEQ - modified Grange 20 143Jul 17, 2017 7:17 pm Thanks HENRY. Not sure what's on the agenda yet for this week (besides more KFC).
The grouting got done yesterday and I had a moment of panic on site as they'd done all walls in white grout and I remember picking a matching grout with my Beaumont rep Misty Grey to match the Nile sand tiles. This was particarly important in the ensuite where the floor tile wraps up the back wall of the shower. Unfortunately for some reason she entered standard white grout for the walls everywhere including the nile sand feature wall and the other wet areas which are 100% nile sand. Doesn't make sense to me why she would think I'd want to only match the grout on the floor and not to the exact same tiles on the wall. Now we have rooms like the toilet and laundry where it's matching grout on the floor and then between the skirting tiles they've changed to white grout! Tilers didn't question it or ask to meet before they started so I didn't pick it up til it was done. Yesterday when I saw they'd done white on the walls and were about to start the floors I was torn between calling ss or just asking them so I asked if they were doing Misty grey on the floors and they said yes. Nothing can be done about it. At least it's a light coloured tile so it's not too bad. What can you see? Re: Coral Homes Build SEQ - modified Grange 20 155Jul 20, 2017 8:39 am There is a clear pane to the alfresco corner stacker doors but this morning I was meeting the painter to sign something so here's a photo of kitchen bench from inside (although covered in stuff). This was an upgrade to Oyster. Ensuite is urban but has the 40mm thicker edge because of the upgrade to that room. We are building the Grange 25 but not starting until February. Did you get the standard kitchen sink or is that one an upgrade? Gai Re: Coral Homes Build SEQ - modified Grange 20 160Jul 24, 2017 6:51 pm House locked up over the weekend but had a peek through the windows to see how painters are progressing. They have started an undercoat... let's hope this is just the roller marks of the undercoat and NOT the plasterboard acting up. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The linings around the top of the door mustn't be cut straight either as looking up, at either end there is a gap between the door and the header (fine) but in the centre the door is actually scraping against the lining which will put pressure on the motor. nice gap Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Door scraping Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ They are siliconing any gaps in the render but look at this end!
