I opted out of comfort pack as I'll be doing the flooring with another vendor & I don't like Domaine's selection on flooring. Did you guys have to pay $15K extra on site cost? They told me this is because of the retaining wall. Re: Clarendon Sheridan Build - Box Hill NSW 68Aug 15, 2017 7:57 pm Hi All, hoping some could help me out.
I had my Land and Building contract reviewed by my Solicitor. I was told that (SC53.1 ,53.2(a) ,54) way the clause written in contract. I would find difficult to get my home loan approved. I had this claim confirmed with my mortgage broker (and he himself got a written confirmation from NAB,CBA, ANZ and Westpac) "not accept split contracts such as what is proposed by Clarendon" My original sales Agent was very helpful, but, unfortunately, he has moved on to another job. Currently I am getting different answers from Sales department people. I am wondering if anyone of you had this problem? . please help...... /size] Re: Clarendon Sheridan Build - Box Hill NSW 69Aug 15, 2017 8:07 pm nextdoorguy We're building in stage 3 in highgrove with Domaine. I saw few house have already started take shape in stage one. Hope someone could share their building experience so far Re: Clarendon Sheridan Build - Box Hill NSW 70Aug 15, 2017 10:51 pm Hello All, I have been going through the upgrade pack for electricals on domaine homes. They offer about 13 downlights ground floor... should this be good enough? Or do you recommend getting the lux pack for electricals? Lux provides Downlights all over and provision for pendent lights on top of the kitchen island. Electric lux is an additional 2.5k Re: Clarendon Sheridan Build - Box Hill NSW 71Aug 21, 2017 1:54 pm Hi All, I am process of finalizing a building contract with Domaine Homes in HighGrove Box Hill for stage 5, land is due to register in Feb 2018. Can somebody please share his/her experience till now? My building contract seems to be bit weird , stating points like Owner has to arrange for removal of debris & rubbish, owner has to pay for water consumption during construction We are process of negotiating with Domaine Homes to get this clarified. But did someone else face the same issues? what was the resolution provided to you? Regards. Re: Clarendon Sheridan Build - Box Hill NSW 72Aug 25, 2017 2:46 pm I upgraded to electrical lux - I feel like it's worth it.. I just think the standard lights look a bit cheap and I wanted to make upstairs tie in nicely with downstairs - I went with 2750 height downstairs and only 1600 upstairs so felt it would help brighten the space. I'm also building in stage 5 with domaine and haven't got anything that says I'm responsible for rubbish removal?! That is part of the $25000 additional site costs we pay as far as I'm aware. Did you get any clarity about this? Re: Clarendon Sheridan Build - Box Hill NSW 74Aug 25, 2017 2:55 pm Barbecue I upgraded to electrical lux - I feel like it's worth it.. That is a good choice for Narrow lands. I assume 2600 for upstairs Re: Clarendon Sheridan Build - Box Hill NSW 75Aug 25, 2017 3:04 pm Barbecue MoNe Hi All, I am process of finalizing a building contract with Domaine Homes in HighGrove Box Hill for stage 5, land is due to register in Feb 2018. Did you get any clarity about this? It is mentioned in the standard HIA contract. Ultimately we manged to get a written confirmation from Domaine Homes that it is all covered within the price already mentioned in the contract. Can I get to know what is your lot number? Just to check if we are neighbours...if you dont wanna share, that's perfectly fine.
