Do you know what the supervisor has planned for you next week? Thank you Melt23. I have no idea what's planned for next week. We are hoping to have roof on, followed by windows (kitchen window needs to be moved off centre of wall hoping that this is done same day) and some foil wrapping. Or other way around. We are following another build which is around the corner. Love your colour choices. Looks so striking and different! Henry's Build on the Gold Coast 32Apr 22, 2017 7:23 pm allblaqk Wow! Love your colour choices. Looks so striking and different! Thank you allblaqk . Our facade is standard so to help our home to get through covenants we thought we would use a bit of contrast with colours. Not sure what colour for front door. We will choose that when we meet with the painter. Re: Henry's Build on the Gold Coast 33Apr 22, 2017 7:27 pm I love the look of wooden garage doors and wooden front doors. Thats what I am going to try and do, depending on the cost! I do colours in a few weeks but we will see. I would do a black front door for your build, I love black though Re: Henry's Build on the Gold Coast 34Apr 22, 2017 7:35 pm allblaqk I love the look of wooden garage doors and wooden front doors. I would do a black front door for your build, I love black though Who are you building with and where? The garage door we are having is colorbond but is textured and coloured like timber. Upgrade was under $400 with our builder and our timber front door 1200mm wide was included in build. Yes I hear you in regards to the front door. There are more and more black doors popping up on this forum Re: Henry's Build on the Gold Coast 35Apr 22, 2017 7:54 pm HENRY Who are you building with and where? I am not sure of the upgrade cost yet but hopefully it is reasonable, would love to have that look! Lovely colour scheme too, strong colours with a awesome contrast. We did a similar contrasting with our old house. What's the plan for main flooring?? Re: Henry's Build on the Gold Coast 39Apr 23, 2017 9:03 am How fantastic they were working on a Saturday Love the roof, it's refreshing to see a light coloured roof... the trend on here lately myself included has been darker colours GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: Henry's Build on the Gold Coast 40Apr 23, 2017 3:10 pm allblaqk great to see someone else choosing a smaller builder. Where and what plan design are you building? We chose not to upgrade our facade as we wanted to spend money inside our home. Hopefully you can afford all the upgrades you want to make your home special.
