Those selections are fantastic! Love the black and white kitchen, that brick tile will be a very subtle feature to the kitchen also. Love the linear pendant to the island, they are seriously unreal for task lighting. Oh fancy appliances super impressed they will make cooking a huge treat. At the rate your build is going they will all be installed in 10 days Re: Henry's Build on the Gold Coast 43Apr 23, 2017 9:55 pm Thank you Tribe7. We wish it was happening in 10 days. I must admit that the kitchen splashback was the hardest decision to make with the colour selections. I did not want glass. When the colour consultant bought that tile out to me that was THE TILE. I don't know how I missed it in Beaumonts showroom. Thank God! he showed it to me. Sooo, whilst checking out your selections I thought to myself that we must have similar tastes. I would have loved to have some of the Infinity Tiles but they were a bit out of my budget. Your Organic White is similar to my second choice of stone from Quantum Quartz - White Swirl. Mr Henry did not like it so we went with Luna White. First choice stone was Calcutta Primo - boy was that expensive. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Then I saw your Koko toilet suite. Haha ours is called the Vista toilet suite. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Then there was the batten wall!!! Thinking of adding to media wall after handover. Henry's Build on the Gold Coast 44Apr 24, 2017 12:03 am Hello Mrs Henry, I really love the tile you picked, your feature is the monochrome kitchen, those over heads will be stunning, the tile adds a layer of texture and wow, we do have similar tastes I had a linear pendant in my last build but a soft oak colour . If your hunting for any other pendants have a look at these http://www.whodidthat.com.au/products.php these are made in tassie and just beautiful, I'm seriously thinking about 2 x black cotton for my kitchen?? or maybe having a pendant over my dining table? Budget is a dirty word around my house right now sshhhhhhh the tiles are sooo pretty though . The patches in the organic white make me a little concerned, the stone people are actually on the coast La Rocca they are near harbour town, I'm trying to make it in this week to check out a big slab. I love Luna White it's the QQ version of ice snow (that's what we had in our kitchen last time) oh dear we do have very similar tastes. First time builder is having luna white in her kitchen too, she is at Huntington rise in Maudsland (not sure if you have been in there) holy smoke anything starting with Calcutta requires a first born as payment. Hehhehe yes the loo is the same and the battening is just too lovely to pass up on. It's a clever idea to add the battening to the wall as a feature, have you been to the Metricon display houses at Ormeau ridge?? The herringbone feather pattern wall paper in the house is wow. I think I am going to have to track that down. Can't wait to see your kitchen in, gives me a glimpse of how mine will look. Re: Henry's Build on the Gold Coast 45Apr 25, 2017 7:56 pm Thanks Tribe7 for the link for the pendants. I think that black cotton pendants would look lovely in your kitchen. There are so many gorgeous ones to choose from. I have been to Metricon at Ormeau but I don't remember the batten wall. Actually I think I saw your Organic White benches in one of the Metricon display homes at Upper Coomera. Not sure which home as there are 6 displays there. You do know that there is a Caesarstone show room at Yatala on the Gold Coast they are open 630am to 5pm Mon - Fri if they don't have it at La Rocca. Budget $$$ are a killer when it comes to Calcutta stone and tiles:wink: Re: Henry's Build on the Gold Coast 46Apr 25, 2017 7:59 pm Bathroom and Ensuite selections Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Basin Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Basin Mixer Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Towel rail Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Toilet roll holder Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Bath Spout Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Bath mixer Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Bath Re: Henry's Build on the Gold Coast 47Apr 25, 2017 8:16 pm Ensuite selections. We had 3 different basins to choose from our builder as standard and this one was my favourite. I will have a read of Deejay's thread. Good choice with the Luna White.
