It's next to the spotlight. It has awesome stuff there and yeah does seem very new. I hadn't heard of them until I saw it. Hope that helps! If so it's the same stacker that we had, bahhahahhahshhs that sounds like Mr T and I, we went up our block and plotted out the house last week, we used builders string and screw drivers to make the shape, I went to push the screw driver in and Mr T was like that's the wrong spot it's right here I said nope it's here, me being me I remeasured and was wrong 🤦🏼♀️ Mr T proceeded to dance around the freshly drove in screw driver poking fun that I'm crap at measuring, he politely got told I was going to drive the next screw driver up is $):@ god knows what our new neighbors thought. The diamond screens are great, nice and safe and keep the bugs out . Yeah poor Cathy was OCD about the cat hair on the panels, cat was ginger so it showed up badly . That's a good idea about tinting the windows. Which direction does the stacker face? Ohhhhh did you say shopping??? Well hello friend I like shopping, happy to offer some suggestions, what look and feel do you want in your home? Mis matched and homely? Bright and bold? Scandi? Omg I found a pendant for Lucy to hang over her beside table, check it out. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Love it . Good plan with looking further abroad for your furniture, it will give you heaps of ideas for your home too, check out freedom as well they have beautiful displays which are great for ideas also. Your hubby will be so pumped to do all the work for you, because it's your own home and he is skilled. Plus it's satisfying as hell PMSL I think my hubby and yours would get along great cause that's exactly what he does to me! Our stacker is on the side of the house where the sun rises. So if you're standing in our kitchen with the stacker on your left it rises in roughly a 45 degree to the left. Does that make sense?? Lol SHOPPING even though moths just flew out of my wallet 🤣 Ok to be completely honest I have no idea what our style is we currently have minimal anything because we've been renting and haven't been able to add our own touches ever.... I'll be over the moon when we move in and can finally hang a picture on my walls!!! Little things like that we can't wait to do! We have stuck to white & dark colours so I'm hoping to add colour in things like the floor rug & cushions for the couches etc! So ATM we just have a very classic look happening. Oh I love the pendant Watching house rules tonight and makes me want to go out & buy things I've already got hubby lined up to extend our alfresco area I think we have nailed down that we are going to extend it as a timber deck it'll give the house a little more character & I love the look of decks. But we need to look into what colour the roof will be I think we will end up going to stratco and looking at their range. I'm planning on a big outdoor table where we can have friends over for BBQ's etc! Love entertaining but our rental is too small to be able to oh and I've also lined him up for a pizza oven lucky he's handy Re: First Home 😀 Building with Dixon Homes 243May 28, 2017 10:35 pm Tribe7 If you get the chance try the store at the Helensvale home maker centre Allblaqk, the dude in there was lovely and so helpful when I went, he has a Bieber swishy hair cut and is covered in tats can't help with a name though. Glad to see your progressing with your build too, we aren't that far south of you. Good tip I like that homemaker centre, its really nice. Whereabouts are you? I'm sure I've read it somewhere but I forget. And i'm watching far too many threads! I'm loving the stuff at TKMaxx now, theres one in the same centre where I work (which is funnily enough at Pillow Talk) and i'm always checking them out, they have heaps of good homewares! (and gym clothes ) Re: First Home 😀 Building with Dixon Homes 244May 28, 2017 10:39 pm fleabee86 Watching house rules tonight and makes me want to go out & buy things I feel this! I really want the Matt Blatt artwork that Kate used in last weeks hallway. But why is everything so expensive on that show? Like $105/sqm tiles Re: First Home 😀 Building with Dixon Homes 245May 29, 2017 7:17 am allblaqk fleabee86 Watching house rules tonight and makes me want to go out & buy things I feel this!
