Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Construction Cost for two units 11May 16, 2017 9:15 pm ilovebighouse2014 Hello Guys, I am in dilemma. I want to build two units and I approached two/three builders and they indicated construction cost between 700K-800K. I am truly astonished and shocked with that. I'm fairly certainly it cannot be that high ! One builder quoted 700K-800K for 20-26 squares house X 2 Another one said 748K for 2 And most importantly these DOES NOT include Site Cost. It would be build in Eastern suburb but I am very sure suburb shouldn't matter. I assume that the land is flat. I want to build a two storey units house size ideally should be 20 squares... and price in range of 150K to 200K is this feasible with a quality build? or I am out of touch with current construction cost ? Couple of the builder's quoted 16K per square but then they say we won't anything less than X squares ! then their statement itself hold no value ! I have limited budget at my disposal as land cost in East have sky rocketed but I still hold my dream close to my eyes and see it should happen Also kindly advise any quality builders who don't have big name in game but still they do a very great work and are fairly reasonable in pricing.. Kindly advise Thanks Hi, Cost does seem to be little high. Recently, I did couple of quotes of townhouses near Hopper Crossing (26-27 square). 3 bedroom-2 bathroom and 1 garage and cost was around $675-700K including site cost.I don't know what they are offering and their inclusions etc. Thanks Jas Re: Construction Cost for two units 12Mar 05, 2020 10:01 am jasmunder ilovebighouse2014 Hello Guys, I am in dilemma. Do you mind to tell which builder it is as I am looking for someone who can construct new house at the back of existing house in hopper crossing. The price you're seeing for a high-spec 2-storey home in Perth sounds steep, but unfortunately, it's kind of the norm these… 8 8041 2 3018 How are you doing Ben?
