Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Bricking and plastering 681Jul 20, 2018 10:26 am You are only in week 11! So when will be the handover? Another 3 months? That's very fast! In the contract it says 10 months!
He's saying end of September or start of October. Yes our contract also says 10 months but that's just to cover their butts so they dont have to pay damages. The average build time is 6 months for a house this size.
OMG! I hope ours will be as fast as yours. We are moving to Melbourne sometime in November and we got no place to stay. If we could have that fast, say handover before Christmas, we can save money on renting! 😊 Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Bricking and plastering 682Jul 21, 2018 7:06 am Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Bricking and plastering 683Jul 21, 2018 7:54 am House looks nice. Ours went up quick too. Started January, the day before Australia Day, should hopefully be having handover in a couple of weeks. Our cabinetry and rendering is supposed to be finished this weekend, so we're only maybe 5-6 days ahead now! We've got 4 pallets of bricks to move into the back yard this weekend, so we've got enough for our front fence.... Dunno that I'm looking forward to that somehow Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Bricking and plastering 687Jul 21, 2018 9:56 am Drew01 Looking great! Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Bricking and plastering 689Jul 25, 2018 9:30 am Cabinetry due to be finished today. I can only assume stairs would have had to have gone in first in order to get things upstairs. Walk through tomorrow which I'm excited about. Also some baskets for the pantry, a stack of hand towels for the powder room and sheets for the spare bed. Plus a stack of new coat hangers so I can ditch the old metal ones. Still need to find some standard iceberg roses but not till we’re ready to plant. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Fixing 699Jul 29, 2018 9:09 pm blackcat20 Drew01 Espalier lemon tree?
