We don't have a BSC....
Who looks after the admin part during your build?
No idea. I assume we have one, they just haven't bothered to tell us who. I've been dealing with the operations manager for weeks.

Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Finally Started! 482May 12, 2018 10:58 pm We have had a chat with our 2nd coordinator after we decided to cancel the contract with M. The first coordinator was a nightmare as it would take over 2 weeks to get any response and we had to push our sales with cancelling the contract to get another person. Got told that they are under stuffed and not very well compensated. But the silver line is that you should see a much better experience once the build starts. Sometime it wouldn`t be a bad idea to have some pressure on them. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Finally Started! 483May 14, 2018 9:42 am Sent through an email this morning chasing up details of our contacts for the build. It seems odd that we havent been given one, as our CSC told us we'd get one as soon as we moved to construction. Our My Metricon portal still shows pre-construction, so that hasnt been rolled over either. We seem to have fallen into a very large black hole. I'm also chasing up the details of the slab supervisor and engineering plans to get to our inspector; I dont want to miss out on them being able to inspect the slab before the frame goes up. Keep hassling them blackcat, they need to give you answers. If they don't provide you with this information in time to get these major construction stages checked by your inspector, it could have long term consequences for the quality of your build (hopefully all will be fine, but you want piece of mind that your slab is up to standard). I would say this is contributing to your slow lead up to the build. What an absolute nightmare for you! Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Finally Started! 485May 14, 2018 10:00 am Even the inspector was suprised how bad it's been for us. I really dont know what has happened for us to end up with such a messy admin stage. I really dont know what has happened for us to end up with such a messy admin stage. You guys have done nothing wrong. I feel for you. Admin stage is known to be an issue for almost every builder. Might just keep pushing M or even mention about logging complaints with relative bodies. From our experience, being a nice customer isn`t really what M wants. Don`t let this stress you out. Hold M responsible for this. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Finally Started! 488May 14, 2018 10:17 am shokel1975 blackcat20 Even the inspector was suprised how bad it's been for us. I really dont know what has happened for us to end up with such a messy admin stage. Who have you been dealing with at M during/since your sales stage? At what point did it drop off? Our sales rep handed us to a CSC. She then left and we were picked up by a second CSC. She left M at the same time we finished pre-contruction, and told us our construction contact would be in touch. It never happened. Whenever I ring reception they look at our file and say "oh your CSC is X " (ie number 2) and I have to tell them she's gone. We then get passed to the team leader (who has been away) or the operations manager. No one seems keen to give us our own admin person. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Finally Started! 493May 15, 2018 8:11 pm We felt the same way about our backyard when our site cut was done, but it turned out they had cut extra at the back Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Finally Started! 494May 15, 2018 8:18 pm elieassi1992 We felt the same way about our backyard when our site cut was done, but it turned out they had cut extra at the back Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Finally Started! 495May 15, 2018 8:20 pm blackcat20 elieassi1992 We felt the same way about our backyard when our site cut was done, but it turned out they had cut extra at the back You prob won’t get a true feel for it until slab and frame are done. enjoy the ride! Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Finally Started! 496May 15, 2018 9:03 pm Hoping to duck back over the weekend to see it in daylight. Was freezing so we didn’t stick around long in the dark. Site next door is a mess, no signage and slab steel scattered all over the footpath. Doesn’t give me much confidence that they have the slab on their side of the boundary. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Finally Started! 497May 16, 2018 10:13 am We finally have our BSC Site cut will be finished this morning then they'll get moving on the next bit. No issue with organising inspections and they will send me the SS details for that. I swear that is the official marker that you have begun. I thought the house was small until the frames went up and then still i thought was smaller in places. Plasterboard helps really give a proper feel. Nice entrance light. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Finally Started! 500May 16, 2018 7:51 pm icat2000 Congrats. Finally, the famous loo. That's all our pendants done now, just need batten fixes for the rest and fans for the bedrooms. Hmmm, I have checked your past posts and it seems that you are in NSW, not WA as I had thought.
