Ours is awesome, and she's terribly over loaded
Given how many M homes are going up in our estate alone, I'm not surprised theyre all overworked. This one seems more proactive that the last so hopefully she sticks around.

Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Contract signing 122Oct 03, 2017 8:29 pm Contracts are signed and deposit paid Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Contract signed 124Oct 04, 2017 8:33 am No issues fixing up those little things we'd noticed, during the appointment. The contract agent also noticed that our stacker door would be better off the other way around, so that was fixed as well. The stated build time is a bit long at 297 days but I'm hoping that's worst case scenario given it isnt a big house. Just waiting for land settlement (hopefully end of November) then we are good to go. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Contract signed 125Oct 05, 2017 6:17 pm Playing with my landscaping plan. We have to submit our front yard plans to the developer at some point, and theres a huge list of prohibited plants. Having a block big enough to grow fruit trees was very important to me as I had a large range of trees at my old house. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Still not sure what to do with the gap between the front path and the driveway; either turn or continue the garden bed.... Also not sure how to do the garden bed along the front window so that we dont compromise the slab. Its so exciting to walk your block for the first time!! D Hopefully you'll be building soon. Its your light that made me take note Also noted that the speed hump wont be in front of ours. The only annoying thing is the NBN pit is in the footpath right where our front path will be, but at least its flat. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Settlement ~ December 129Oct 16, 2017 12:41 pm We've finally been given an estimated titling date at the end of November, with settlement mid-December. Hopefully it sticks (or is earlier). Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Settlement ~ December 130Oct 23, 2017 2:43 pm Whatever has been holding up the stages before ours (apparently an NBN issue) seems to have been resolved as Stage 9 has SoC with 10/11/13 expected to follow this week. Stages 14 and 15 both look pretty much done so hoping we are close now. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Settlement ~ December 131Oct 25, 2017 1:42 pm Trying to squeeze more info out of the developer. Stage 10 got SoC yesterday. 12 is held up needing testing while 13 is ready, but council wont release SoC for 13 as it would be "out of order". Assuming 14 and 15 also need testing before they can be issued SoC then titles. Getting so impatient! Broker is sorting out our loan so its just titles then time to build. All getting real now! Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Settlement ~ December 134Nov 03, 2017 12:14 pm Valuation has come in higher than our land and build so we're all good to go. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Settlement ~ December 137Nov 06, 2017 10:38 am aloenyx Whooo. Congrats on the valuation. icat2000 Congrats on the valuation. Thanks Very relieved it came in above. Sounds like the broker is ready to submit the loan applicatoin now. Stage 12 in the estate titled on Saturday! 13 should be in the newxt few days, then its just 14 and 15 (us). Should only be a matter of weeks now. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Settlement ~ December 138Nov 12, 2017 8:25 pm Following your progress. What kind of stairway are you having? I like two story houses and love the idea of one, but I don't do heights and or stairs! I hated going into two story display homes...lol, apparently I fell down the stairs as a kid so I think its all to do with that though I don't remember it happening. Just the standard, carpeted stairs. We prioritised upgrading things that were more important to us. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Settlement ~ December 140Nov 14, 2017 8:19 am I've been watching another Winchester that's being built in Melbourne. Started in June and just about to handover, so just a touch over 5 months. I'm hoping ours will go at a similar pace as that would put us mid year which is what I'm aiming for (around our first wedding anniversary). Hmmm, I have checked your past posts and it seems that you are in NSW, not WA as I had thought. It pays to show your State in your avatar. Retaining wall regulations… 5 7857 Hi, you've probably already resolved this, however, Commbank will probably pay the funds to you after you send evidence the work is done regardless the change in the quotes. 1 35326 Ideally you would engage a landscaper to give you some insight what they may need in the space to make your vision come to life… 1 13637 |
