I really don't know what else to do. The contract says they have to start by this coming Thursday but they don't seem pressured at all Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Construction 403Apr 30, 2018 12:48 pm what do they say to you when you call them? Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Construction 405Apr 30, 2018 6:34 pm Metricon go from bad to worse and I wish we'd walked away from them months ago. They've decided to amend the engineering for some unknown reason and now we have to go back to council for a new permit Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Construction 406Apr 30, 2018 7:03 pm blackcat20 Metricon go from bad to worse and I wish we'd walked away from them months ago. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Construction 408Apr 30, 2018 8:06 pm That is crazy. Surely a new permit isn’t needed? I hope that doesn’t take another 6 or so weeks for you 🤨 Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Construction 409Apr 30, 2018 8:17 pm Drew01 blackcat20 Metricon go from bad to worse and I wish we'd walked away from them months ago. Oh that sucks. Hopefully they won’t take long. Gosh don’t get me started on them. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Construction 414May 01, 2018 6:47 am Tribe7 WTF how did it get the council permit the first time then? I am beyond god smacked blackcat that’s appalling. I would be pushing this all the way up the complaint line. Husband was given details for customer care and has sent a scathing email. Nothing to do with any council... We had a few last minute things they were consulted on at the end of admin regarding C of O, but they are also involved in the issuing of the building permit Ah ok, maybe I've misunderstood when they said they had to resubmit the building permit for approval. They're so vague with their information that its really hard to work out what theyre on about. Just worried that it will mean the 21 days resets and it will be another three weeks before anything happens. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Construction 417May 01, 2018 8:51 am You will get there eventually blackcat, and although it is frustrating at the moment, you do want everything to be right and ticked off, so that there are no issues later on when you are living in your beautiful new home. Fingers crossed it starts soon for you Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Construction 418May 01, 2018 8:54 am You've got to wonder why they keep giving out time frames when they know they wont meet them. There was no way they were going to site within 8-10 weeks but thats the time frame I was told over and over again. 13 weeks as of yesterday. I'm still clinging to hope that we will be in by Christmas. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Construction 419May 01, 2018 9:07 am Yeah, we were hoping we would be in by Christmas, but with delays to land being titled, and M delays with paperwork etc, the best I am hoping for is between Christmas and Easter! It will happen! It will happen! Nothing like a bit of over-promise and under-deliver. We were told we'd be in by April (this year!) Hmmm, I have checked your past posts and it seems that you are in NSW, not WA as I had thought. It pays to show your State in your avatar.
