I will check with our SM when he prefers to have them going down. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- PCI done! 983Sep 22, 2018 11:14 am Hi Blackcat, do you have problem in searching your boundary pegs for fencing purpose? We were at our site few weeks ago and couldn't find the boundary pegs so we requested our SM to help us to look for us. Yet he said we should get a re-survey since fencing is not part of M contract. Thanks Blackcat! Will get my hubby to go to the site to have a better look during the final walkthrough. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- PCI done! 987Sep 22, 2018 11:23 am Wild Can we ask M to include resurvey of pegs if required for fencing etc in the contract at no extra cost or not a possibility. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- PCI done! 988Sep 22, 2018 12:11 pm Did a quick visit yesterday. Not much has been done since PCI which is disappointing. They've tried to fix a wonky door frame (without success), and installed blinds. I've also realised how dirty the fill is that they've spread across the block so that needs to be raised and rectified. I don't consider it safe for us or our dogs for so much unidentified rubble to be in the yard. Once we're in, I'm going to hire a bobcat for a weekend and rescrape the yard by a few inches, and we'll get a few trucks of topsoil through a mate who is in the earthmoving business, so won't cost us anything. Then the battle starts with weed control! I hate importing soil... It's a hazard. I agree, ours has all manner of crap spread all over it, and it was pristine when we handed it over. Most of ours is brickies sand though, so it's not terrible, just looks terrible. I'm going to ask them to remove it; there was no need to add dirty fill to our site and it just creates more work (plus we have no way of knowing how safe it is). Still no word on a handover date almost two weeks since PCI. SS has been on jury duty which may not be helping... Also how did you keep track of the defects list and were there many? Did your inspector find any others? Do u have any tips to share? We are preparing an excel sheet by room to check that the items are all installed n working correctly. Did u have to sign anything at the end of PCI ? https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=ht ... are_type=t Re: Metricon Winchester 28- PCI done! 995Sep 26, 2018 6:30 pm Our inspector went through before PCI, and picked up a few things M hadn't. At the end of PCI the supervisor fills in the iPad and you sign off on it. He's chasing things up so hopefully we're back on track. He's also investigating the dirty fill. It's quite possible it's been dumped by someone else but hoping it will be dealt with. Fences finally started today, only three weeks late.... Re: Metricon Winchester 28- PCI done! 998Oct 04, 2018 9:15 am Three weeks since PCI and still no hand over date.... Re: Metricon Winchester 28- PCI done! 999Oct 04, 2018 9:23 am blackcat20 Three weeks since PCI and still no hand over date.... Did you call M to check? Ours the same, ever since we wanted the driveway included in our PCI, there is no news on the new PCI date.
